THE MOUNTYSINTRODUCTIONS
“A warm welcome to the Upper Engadine and to our home, the mountains of Corviglia. There’s so much amazing stuff to experience here, so let’s not waste any time. The most important thing is easy to say: We’re best friends, we stick together through thick and thin, and we’ve already shared many an adventure together.
To help you get to know us better, there’s even a Mounty fun and puzzle booklet with lots of—psst!—insider tips inside. You can actually find these booklets just about everywhere: for example, in the restaurants on Corviglia or at the cable car ticket counters. And if you can’t find one, just ask for it. See you soon and best regards—or as we say in the Engadin: A bainbod e chers salüds!”

LUNATHE SNOW HARE
Hobbies: Themed nature trails in the summer and sledding in the winter
Favorite subjects: Math and languages
What I want to be when I grow up: Cable car mechatronics technician
“If you think I’m a scaredy-cat, you’re wrong. I’m very fast and agile. That comes in handy, especially since I always set out at the last minute. I love learning and trying new things. I’m the only one in my group who has both a summer and a winter coat. Edy, my best friend, rarely gets to see my beautiful white winter fur because he’s usually asleep in the winter.”
ALVITHE WATER DRAGON
Hobbies: Swimming in the summer and making snow angels in the winter
Favorite subjects: Natural science and physics
What I want to be when I grow up: A snow groomer operator
“I’m not originally from here, but when I first visited the Lej Alv nature reservoir, I knew: This is going to be my new home! I stayed and made friends for life. They also gave me the name Alvi because I didn’t have one of my own yet. Organizing is my thing—especially adventures and birthday parties.”
EDYTHE GROUNDHOG
Hobbies: Hiking and riding my scooter in the summer, and mostly sleeping in the winter
Favorite subjects: Drawing and singing
What I want to be when I grow up: A chef
“What I like most about the Engadin are the delicious nut cakes made by Jürg, the head chef at Marguns—I always eat plenty of them so I’m fully prepared for hibernation. When my friends have an adventure mission, I always call them together because I have the loudest whistle of them all. Even during my hibernation, I’m there for them. Can you keep a secret? I really like Luna.”
MOThe Ibex
Hobbies: Trail running in the summer and skiing in the winter
Favorite subjects: Physical education and geography
What I want to be when I grow up: SOS Patrol Member
“My name is Mo, and I’m always the one keeping track of things among my friends—partly because I know the mountains better than anyone else. I protect my friends and take on all the tasks that require a little more courage and strength. My passion is the steep slopes of Piz Nair—whether on foot or on skis. In every ski race, I’m right up there at the front.”
